The yarn give-away is here and both will be open until Wednesday 9/27/17 and winners announced Thursday. You can enter both or just one. The rules are simple. Leave a comment with your book choice. Books with more than 1 entry will have their own hat drawing. Books that only have one taker, that person will get them. Books with no takers go back into my library. I pay for shipping. I only ask that what ever the book is worth to you, you pay it forward with a donation of time, money or goods to help those in need. Right now there is a lot of misery and devastation in Florida, Texas, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands. If you can donate to some cause working to help people or animals effected in these areas, please, please do. Here is a listing of agencies you can donate too. Of course any donation anywhere is better than none. In the end, please pay it forward as you can and think you for your generosity.
I try to get every item mailed out within two weeks, but I will also need your address. I simply cannot afford to ship out of the USA, so please US address only.

I would love to have the Rag Rug Handbook for our Tuesday Weavers group. For me, it is a valuable resource, and it has been out of print for awhile. Thank you for continuing to think of others during these stressful times.
Oh that collapse weave book! Wow, I was just thinking I need to gather resources to learn about that.

Don't enter me for a book as I have them all except the tapestry book and I have no interest in that one. Just wanted to say it's a wonderful and generous paying it forward idea. I have been donating to the worthy causes connected with the latest devastation and will do so again in your honor.
I would love to have a copy of the Rag rug handbook because I have the loom and shuttles but have failed miserably with my first rag rug attempt. Maybe I need the book? My son lives in Houston so we made our donations to his local church, which made many meals for the local national guard workers.
I appreciate so much your positive approach in serving others and the world. You have inspired me to go through the much of what I have and downsize to benefit many. I also find that there are many ways to help if money is an issue....volunteering for the organizations that support recovery is a viable way to process more quickly for those in need. What an inspiration you are!
