Welcome Back Mr. Winter!

I can't tell you how happy you've made me. I love snow, cold and the absolute silence
that a good snowfall brings with it. I can stand out on my front porch and hear the horses
munching their morning hay.
I've been extremely busy this week and a couple more days of getting some stuff done
on a dead line and then back to the looms with me. Until then I'll leave these pictures
from this morning for your viewing pleasure.

It's good that you can love winter! I try to embrace winter every year....but I always have moments (or weeks) of "Why do I live here?"

We're basking in our "January thaw" - in February. I'm loving it!

I guess that if you have snow in Oregon now, sometime next week, the cold weather will make its way back to New Hampshire and winter will resume. But until then, I'm psyched that the snow and ice are melting.

Enjoy!

Old man winter 'kissed' us here too...but nothing too heavy.
I'm only in favor of winter as a dedicated time for weaving. That's it.

Oh, it's beautiful... but eventually you need to get to a grocery store.

Sue,
It might peter out before it hits you out east. Enjoy your thaw! You guys
get the bitter cold we don't get here.

Susan, as much as I love it, I know by say April I'll be complaining about
it and ready for spring and riding. Batten down, looks like a week
of more storms marching through.
